Job Description

• Your will focus on the differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) into hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs).
• As part of this work, you will evaluate and optimize new strategies for the generation, monitoring, and characterization of iPSC‑derived HSCs.
• You will perform transcriptional profiling on iPSC‑derived HSCs and intermediates to elucidate molecular mechanisms affected by biophysical parameters, such as through single‑cell RNA‑seq analysis.
• The work is embedded in cooperation with a leading group in iPSC and Molecular Biology research.
• We are also happy to offer you an upstream internship in our company.
• This position offers you a unique opportunity to obtain your Master’s degree while staying abreast of the latest developments in regenerative cell therapy development.

Qualifications

• You are an enrolled student completing your Master’s in biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry with a focus on stem cell research.
• You have practical experience in (stem) cell culture as well as immunofluorescence, cytometry, or qPCR analysis.
• You have a strong interest in pluripotent stem cell research.
• Your goal‑oriented personality and proactive approach help you to successfully complete projects.
• Fluent English language skills and the ability to work within a team complete your profile.
