What To Expect

The Radar Concepts department develops innovative techniques, technologies and information retrieval algorithms for future radar remote sensing systems missions and applications.

Your tasks

• Develop a new simulation tool to predict the performance impact of optical links on SAR signals
• Set up an analog optical link demonstrator based on fibre optics for analyzing optical links in a SAR context
• Perform innovative experiments with the ground demonstrator based on fibre optics for analyzing optical links in a SAR context
• Expand the demonstrator with a free-space optics link and perform established tests

Your profile

• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of optical systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of radar and/or RF systems is an advantage
• Laboratory experience is an advantage (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.)
