In this master thesis, you will develop amodular optimization framework for a real-worldInventory Routing Problem. This optimizationproblem combines aspects of inventory management,delivery scheduling, and routing (see, e.g.,arXiv: ). You will start by reviewing therelevant literature and existing solutionapproaches, then formalize the use case, itsscale, constraints, and available data. Buildingon this, you will design and implement aprototypical end-to-end system. In particular, youwill research different decomposition strategies(e.g., temporal, spatial, and mathematical) andimplement a modular solution using classicaloptimization techniques, quantum-inspired methods,and/or AI techniques. The orchestration of thefull solution can be managed, e.g., by an agenticcomponent.
