You'll make an impact by

• You will initially analyze the current state of autonomous capabilities in complex and heterogeneous software product landscapes to establish a baseline for further research
• Subsequently, you will perform a maturity assessment of self-evolving capabilities within these systems, identifying areas for potential enhancement
• Building on this, you will develop a conceptual framework to systematically collect, synthesize, and analyze relevant information from various sources
• Through a combination of state-of-the-art research and structured interviews with industry experts, you will gather insights into strategic and technical needs for self-evolving software
• Finally, you will identify key challenges and formulate recommendations for the adoption and enhancement of these advanced capabilities in an industrial context

• Education: You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Business Informatics, Technology and Innovation Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience and Skills:
• You possess strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, capable of structuring complex information
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in engaging with various stakeholders
• You have a good understanding of software systems and architectures, with prior programming experience being advantageous
• Ways of Working: You are proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently while effectively collaborating with a research team
• Languages: Fluent in English
