This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII designs, develops, integrates and manages sensors, systems and other assets to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the DoD, combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission globally.

Summary

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a results-oriented Maven Smart System SME to support critical operations with the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). This role requires a technically skilled, mission-focused individual with a strong systems engineering background.

As a Maven SME, you will oversee comprehensive technical planning and conduct detailed analyses of system integration, verification, and validation activities. You will evaluate cost, risk, supportability, and performance throughout the system lifecycle from concept and design to testing, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.

Your responsibilities include translating customer or operational requirements into complete system solutions that balance technical, scheduling, and budget considerations. You will perform functional and timeline analyses, conduct trade studies, allocate requirements, and define system interfaces to guide both hardware and software development in alignment with mission needs.
