Location: Initial On-Site (Near Frankfurt) | Remote after 1–3 months
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: 12-month
Rate: Competitive Dependent on Experience

Project Overview

Join a transformative engineering project focused on a major system changeover. We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer (Konstrukteur) to support the migration of mechanical drawings from Hand Drawn and AutoCAD 2D to Creo 11.0, and assist in transitioning materials away from lead-based components.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert and optimize mechanical drawings from AutoCAD 2D to Creo 11.0
• Collaborate with engineering teams to redesign components using alternative materials.
• Drawings must be done in accordance with current standards and in conjunction with existing work instructions.
• At the start of the project, data will be stored in the Agile 6.21 document management system, but this is to be changed to Windchill during the course of the project.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide technical input on feasibility and improvements

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience with AutoCAD 2D and Creo (preferably version 11.0)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
• Experience in system migration projects or component redesign
• Fluent in German and/or English
• Able to work on-site for the first phase, then transition to remote work
