Role Overview

Position: Engineering Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
Commitment: Part‑time ~20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week)
Duration: 1–2 months
Collaborate with a top AI research lab to develop and evaluate advanced AI systems that replicate real‑world engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Create and assess complex engineering problems across civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, and systems engineering subdomains.
Evaluate AI‑generated responses for conceptual accuracy, technical rigor, and domain relevance.
Provide clear written feedback on engineering problem sets, designs, and solutions.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance.
Ensure technical accuracy and academic precision in all engineering content used to train or evaluate AI systems.

Requirements / Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Engagement Details

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($65‑$80 USD/hr).
Contract type: Independent contractor.
Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours.
Payment: Daily payment via Stripe Connect.
