About the role

EPSA is looking for a skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team in Eastern Creek, NSW. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with field responsibilities, focused on servicing and repairing heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work on a variety of heavy equipment including diesel engines and generators.
• Regularly travel to region allocations and conduct work in the workshop.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field and at customer sites.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with the wider service team to ensure efficient and high‑quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant trades certification.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines and heavy‑equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and team members.
