Medior G6 Project Manager with security clearance

As a Medior G6 Project Manager within the multinational 1(German/Netherlands) Corps, you will lead the planning and execution of critical CIS (Communications and Information Systems) projects. Operating at the Staff Officer (SO) level, you will be responsible for coordinating complex technical initiatives that enhance the digital infrastructure essential for headquarters functions and operational deployments. This role demands a professional who can navigate a multinational stakeholder landscape, manage technical teams, and ensure project success within the rigorous framework of a NATO military command. It is a key position for driving technological modernization and ensuring CIS readiness.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager WRT co-ordination of planning and execution of CIS related projects within 1GNC Peacetime Locations (PTL), including and if required in the deployed related domains, ICCW staff branches, subordinate units, external national and international agencies and contractors.
• Support the Change, Incident and Problem Management Process by planning and implementation of new CIS ICCW 1GNC stakeholders and external military and civilian partners.
• Develop and review SOP/SOI in relation to developments and changes within the CIS infrastructure at 1GNC PTL.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Proven workingexperience in a multi-national environment.
• Proven experience in executing management functions within CIS support.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Certificate in ITIL Foundation.
• Certificate in Prince 2.
• Experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Advanced English skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of strategic and tactical communication networks (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO) is preferred.
• Working experience in military divisional or corps environment is preferred.
• University or bachelor degree in communications and/or information science is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206) is preferred.
• MS SharePoint User Training (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32336) is preferred.
• Proficiency in the German language is preferred.
• Experience in budget management is preferred.
