MES Engineer (Various locations)

MES Engineers – Junior and Senior Germany, travel required, Intermediate German and Fluent English Factories are becoming intelligent ecosystems. Machines speak. Data moves. We are looking for both Junior and Senior MES engineers to support and shape large-scale MES programmes across modern manufacturing environments. The work is hands-on, technical, and close to the shop floor. Every improvement you make will be felt in real production output. What you will be doing • Supporting, developing, and enhancing MES solutions across live factories • Working with customers to capture requirements and turn them into clear technical actions • Assisting or leading deployments, ensuring each release runs cleanly and safely • Designing and integrating MES systems with IT and OT landscapes, PLC, SCADA, OPC and wider automation • Collaborating with architects, developers and production leaders • Maintaining high-quality documentation and preparing upgrade or maintenance plans • Seniors will mentor junior colleagues and guide best practice across the team What you need• University degree or relevant apprenticeship • Manufacturing experience, from early career up to eight years or more for senior level • Practical exposure to MES platforms such as SAP ME, MII or MOM • Understanding of PLC, SCADA, OPC connectivity and machine integration • Knowledge of production processes, quality, and plant maintenance • Clear written and spoken communication, fluent in German and English • Willingness to travel across Germany Whether you join as a learner or a leader, you will work on systems that keep factories moving.
