Job Title: Finance Consultant – D365 / AX 2012

Overview

We’re looking for a Finance Consultant with a strong background in core finance and accounting to join a leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from industry or an in‑house finance background (for example : Financial Controller, Accountant, or Finance Business Partner) who is looking to move into ERP consulting and develop their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX 2012.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients to understand their finance processes, requirements, and business objectives.
• Support the design, configuration, and delivery of D365 Finance or AX 2012 solutions.
• Translate finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting, etc.) into system functionality.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and go‑live support.
• Provide end‑user training, documentation, and post‑implementation support.
• Participate in workshops, testing, and process improvements.

Ideal Background

• Strong finance knowledge and practical experience in:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable / Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Financial Reporting
• Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance preferred, but not essential).
• Background in finance, accounting, or controlling—either in‑house or industry-side.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Desire to transition into a consulting environment and grow within the Microsoft ecosystem.
