Role Overview

As a Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, you will design and implement voice infrastructure with Direct Routing and Cloud PBX. You ensure high availability, security, and exceptional call quality while addressing complex telephony challenges. Collaboration with security and infrastructure teams aligns voice solutions with IT governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Microsoft Teams voice features: Call Queues, Auto Attendants, Direct Routing.
• Troubleshoot voice quality issues using network analytics.
• Manage SIP trunking and coordinate with telecom carriers.
• Assist with voice security controls, QoS, and compliance.
• Automate administration with PowerShell scripting.
• Provide training and documentation for communication teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Teams voice architecture and telephony systems.
• Knowledge of SIP, VoIP protocols, SBC configurations.
• Proficient in voice networking troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
• PowerShell scripting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer (MS-720), CISSP, CISM.
