Mid-Level Application Engineer - REMOTE

Accountabilities

• Design, develop and maintain custom geospatial and situational awareness applications.
• Provide technical expertise during requirements collection and analysis.
• Develop solutions to meet the needs of GIS Programs.
• Create testing criteria based on Operational Requirements.
• Develop test plans and test scripts for system integrity.
• Conduct developmental and operational testing of applications.
• Implement automated workflows to improve efficiency.
• Create and deploy custom web applications using ESRI tools.
• Regularly update and maintain applications for compatibility.
• Propose innovative solutions to enhance the capabilities of systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of Application Development experience.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, and Python.
• Experience with ESRI APIs and SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices.
• Familiarity with geospatial technologies.
• Experience in developing testing criteria and conducting tests.
• Ability to implement automation scripts for data processing.
• Understanding of federal compliance regulations.
