Mobile App Developer

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced Mobile Developer for a leading fashion client of ours based in Munich.

This role will allow Hybrid remote working, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week and requires fluency in German.

Your role:

• You will develop and optimize our e-commerce app for iOS and Android, based on Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Your responsibilities include close collaboration with iOS and Android teams to ensure optimal integration of the shared code.
• You will implement and maintain the core business logic as well as platform-specific features.
• You implement new features along the entire customer journey, including product discovery, checkout, payment, loyalty, and personalization.
• You ensure that our app offers high code quality, performance, and stability across all platforms.
• You actively participate in architectural decisions and contribute expertise in areas such as Clean Architecture and MVVM.
• Your work will include the integration and further development of REST and GraphQL APIs, including third-party services such as analytics, payment, and CRM.
• You write unit and integration tests for the shared code to ensure software quality.
• You conduct code reviews and promote the active exchange of knowledge within the team.
• You will support release processes, monitor the data, and continuously work on optimizing our app.

Your profile:

• You have several years of experience in developing mobile apps with Kotlin; ideally, you have already worked with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM)
• You have experience in developing and maintaining shared code for iOS and Android and understand the platform-specific features of both systems.
• Your in-depth knowledge of mobile application architecture, such as Clean Architecture and MVVM, is a great advantage.
• Handling REST and/or GraphQL APIs safely is part of your daily tasks.
• You are distinguished by your knowledge of quality assurance using unit and integration tests.
• You are familiar with asynchronous programming, especially with coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app release processes is desirable.
• Your interest in modern mobile technologies and your willingness to continuously develop your skills are part of your motivation.
• You are a team player with a structured, independent and solution-oriented work style.
