WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Own the mobile testing platform: frameworks, pipelines, device labs, test data.
• Set the lean testing strategy and quality gates to ship faster with confidence.
• Drive speed and reliability: parallelisation, sharding, caching; detect quarantine and deflake.
• Build signal and visibility: dashboards, coverage, insights, flaky heatmaps, release confidence.
• Enable teams to self‑serve quality: runbooks, standards, audits, coaching without central QA.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3 years in mobile test automation/quality engineering for Android and/or iOS at scale.
• Deep experience with Espresso/XCTest.
• Hands‑on CI/CD for mobile tests & release pipelines (GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Gradle/AGP, xcodebuild orchestration).
• Strong Kotlin or Swift skills; able to debug across UI, network, storage, concurrency.
• Excellent communication and cross‑team influence.
• Deep knowledge of one cross‑platform tool (Appium, Detox, Maestro) is a huge bonus.
• Device lab fluency (emulators/simulators, Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, Sauce, AWS) is a huge bonus.

MOBILE TEST AUTOMATION TECH STACK

• Android: Espresso, JUnit, UI Automator, Gradle, AGP, Marathon.
• iOS: XCTest, XCUITest, xcodebuild/xctest.
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Maestro, caching/sharding, artifact management.
• Quality tooling: Allure, TestOps, Danger, SonarQube, Detekt/Ktlint, SwiftLint.
• Observability: Crashlytics, Sentry, OpenTelemetry.
