We are looking for a Multiphysics Simulation Engineer to lead the modelling, analysis and design of complex electro-thermal-mechanical systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and validation of high-performance components and subsystems, with a particular focus on finite element method (FEM)-based multiphysics simulations, thermal and fluid dynamics analysis, transformer design, and high-voltage and dielectric behaviour for advanced R&D applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and perform multiphysics simulations combining electromagnetic, thermal, mechanical, and electrical domains
- Build detailed FEM models to analyze electric fields, magnetic fields, thermal behavior, and mechanical stresses
- Performthermal simulations and CFD analysesto evaluate heat transfer, cooling concepts, and fluid flow behavior
- Design and optimize electromagnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and magnetic assemblies
- Analyse losses, temperature distribution, and thermal limits in power components and systems
- Evaluate electric field distribution, insulation coordination, and dielectric stress in highvoltage systems
- Support the design of insulation systems with consideration of partial discharge, breakdown, and aging phenomena
- Translate simulation results into practical design improvements and engineering recommendations
- Correlate simulation results with experimental measurements and validation data
- Support prototype development, testing, and design verification activities
- Collaborate closely with power electronics, mechanical, thermal, and materials engineers on multidisciplinary projects
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, simulation reports, and design summaries
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling methodologies and simulation workflows
