Leverage deep knowledge of the Murex platform, with hands‑on experience in major Murex modules. Understand functional processes of banks and asset managers, including dependencies and interactions between different streams. Lead design/show sessions with business and technical communities and Murex teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute beyond individual modules and to the overall Murex application.
- Drive selection of technologies and designs for the optimal architecture for clients’ Murex setup.
- Multi‑task in a demanding front‑to‑back environment, taking ownership of tasks to completion and supporting platform teams located in multiple locations.
- As a technical lead handle cross‑framework integration and build consolidation program solutions with detailed Technical Design Documents.
- Solutioning test‑driven development (TDD) to low‑level design (LLD) and eventually run development phases in agile implementations.
- Facilitate effective go‑live strategy and post‑care with skilled change management and test planning.
- Contribute to establishing a CI/CD pipeline, adapting to demand of global development teams and project managers, plan releases and deliver to project deadlines.
- Innovate continuously with automation of release‑related activities.
- Establish and document operating procedures which include relevant controls to meet Group and local policy requirements.
- Establish and own a governance structure for identifying and managing risk.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Murex platform hands‑on experience, especially in technical aspects of interfacing (MxML Exhange, Datamart, pre‑ and post‑trade, market data, static data, …) and functional aspects (GOM, products and trade lifecycle, pricing, simulation, counterparties, …).
- Expert knowledge in the technical architecture of the Murex platform, coupled with good understanding of its data models, and in‑depth insights into technicalities of at least MxML Exchange and Datamart.
- Well versed in handling and consolidating a cross‑platform Murex setup and numerous environments.
- Extensive experience with database systems, Transact SQL or PL/SQL, Unix, Linux, shell scripting, and a minimum of two programming languages.
- Extensive experience with greenfield implementation and migration programs and managing large transformation projects.
- Skilled communication, capable of building and maintaining relationships with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud platforms required.
- Experience with RPA or automation of operational processes is a plus.
- DevOps experience, hands‑on with CI/CD and respective tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Automic, Autosys, …).
- Hands‑on with the Murex Batch configuration and EOD planning.
- Hands‑on experience with Murex upgrade/migration on Murex 3.1.36 and beyond is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication in written and spoken English and German.
- Experience and knowledge of Capital Markets is essential.
- Operational principles and advanced knowledge of one or more Service Management disciplines such as Incident, Problem, Change IT, Continuity or Capacity.
