In this role you’ll be responsible for the administration of the WLAN infrastructure working closely with the LAN team and other IT departments. You’ll take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diverse network environments, LAN and WLAN.

The role applies to Teknos Group globally and may be based in Finland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Poland, UK or Denmark, with the expectation of regular visits to a local office in a hybrid working model.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Planification, configuration, administration, and operation of wireless networks in an enterprise environment
• Further development and optimization of existing WLAN infrastructures
• Ensuring trouble-free operation including 1st and 2nd level support
• Creating technical reports and analyses for internal and external requirements
• Maintaining technical documentation and operating manuals
• Monitoring network performance
• Testing new software and hardware in lab environments
• Resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated
• Supporting colleagues of other IT teams

Key skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role, along with completed IT education
• Experience in integrating Aruba wireless networks with existing enterprise network environments, including VLANs, firewalls, and authentication services (RADIUS/LDAP)
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Aruba Mobility Controllers, Access Points (APs), and Aruba Central cloud management platform
• Good understanding of both OSI and TCP/IP models
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like PRTG, Wireshark
• Experience with HP Network Automation (HP NA)
• Perl scripting knowledge would be an advantage
• The following certifications are an advantage: ADMA, ACMP, CCNA Wireless
• You should also be familiar with routing and switching networking
• Fluent English is mandatory, other languages are considered as plus
