TH3RA Consulting is expanding its operations in Germany, and we are looking for Security Firewall Engineers to join our internal subsidiary. These roles are critical to ensuring secure, stable, and highly available network services across complex cloud and data center infrastructures in Germany.

🚀 Security Firewall Engineer – Automation Focus

Location: Germany | Employment: Permanent | Language: English

TH3RA Consulting Germany is looking for Security Firewall Engineers to join an exciting security project starting in Q1 2026. This is a permanent role. No freelancers.

Focuses on firewall administration for Palo Alto and Check Point platforms. Ensures robust network security. Responsible for developing automated solutions to enhance the Network Security Orchestrator. Includes automation for backend components and portal servers. Requires designing and implementing automation tools to:

• Streamline daily operational tasks (e.g., upgrade processes)
• Improve the efficiency and reliability of the network security infrastructure

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and automate firewall environments (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
• Implement API-based policy changes and automation workflows
• Develop scripts and playbooks (Python, .NET, Bash, Ansible)
• Work with Tufin, TOS Aurora, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub
• Document processes and solutions using Wiki and JIRA
• Collaborate with other engineers and review code for quality and compliance

Who You Are:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to clarify and translate customer requirements
• Experienced in Linux administration
• Able to read and understand code written by others
• Eligible for a SÜG Ü2 security clearance or willing to obtain
• No criminal record and no close family ties in high-risk countries
• Citizen of an EU & NATO country
