Mobility DACH operates a mature network more than 2600 service stations across numerous platforms. There is an ongoing requirement to expand the network and to maintain and upgrade existing sites. With Germany being the biggest Economy in Europe and amongst the ten strongest globally it forms a key pillar in Mobilities current and future business. Therefore, DACHs leading position when it comes to environmental consideration and sensitivity provides for ideal conditions to develop and de-risk future business models in line with RDS low carbon ambitions.

Purpose

The Network Planner Southwestern Region will produce and implement detailed, regional Network masterplans in conjunction with the Network Strategy for Germany. This role will continuously analyze and define the required Core network in line with strategic direction in particular Shells Net Zero ambitions. Act as coordinator for regional Network projects, ensure on-time implementation by close engagement with respective internal and external stakeholder and partner companies.

Accountabilities

Below mentioned accountabilities will be applicable to the regional context of the Southwest region

• Create, maintain and advance detailed masterplans of areas of responsibilities for respective region including the Resilience methodology.
• Transparency regarding investment requirements and their ranking – selection of the most economically viable projects
• Run DCF evaluation for business case proposals.
• Research on demographics, infrastructural changes and development of focused area.
• Create investment proposals and manage stakeholders throughout the approval process
• Analyse data of existing network to propose optimised actions, aligned with the country-specific Network and Retail Strategy (lease renewals, value added investments, customer)
• Provide input into overall Master planning, Strategic intent and MYP cycle to ensure resources for delivery.
• Active Management of L2 and L3 contractors
• Closely collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside Planning Team and external stakeholders as well
• Budget Management / LE Management / Timing (Capex, OAC)

Dimensions

• A region typically has some ~ 300 sites. Southwestern region is amongst one of the strongest regions economically in DACH and has a higher proportion of owners. This brings higher activity level on numbers of projects and their complexity (e.g. NTIS, KDR, Great stations)
• DACH Mobility Network > 2600 Sites spread across 3 Countries
• In addition to above Destination business will introduce significant number of additional locations > 500 as of current view and plans
• Manages independently the annual Cash Capex of approximately 20 mln $ on average for Southwestern region
• Deliver Implementation Planning for upcoming Net Zero Network Investment plans. 

Requirements

• 5-10 years' experience in Mobility in particular Network, working on introduction of new fuels/products
• Previous Mobility/Retail experience
• Business degree or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience of working on CRT solutions and offerings is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
• Ability to achieve results fast in dynamic and uncertain situations
• Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviours will be considered during the selection process.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Strong track record in different commercial, technical, and strategic roles focussed on the introduction of new fuels (technologies and products)
• Experience in Contractor management
• Project management certification required
• Place of residence or move to the southwestern region (e.g. Rhein/Main, MA/HD, KA) required
