Job Description:

What can you expect?

• You will be developing and adapting logic for defending against DDoS attacks, especially at the network level
• You will optimize pipelines for automatic detection and mitigation of attack patterns, as well as reporting using flow data
• You will support the team by providing automated operational processes and rollouts of network components for on-call availability
• You will provide interfaces for other teams for integration into the hosting products
• You will be responsible for the administration and troubleshooting of the router infrastructure of our defense products
• You will support set goals through efficient operational architecture, active lifecycle management, and streamlined processes in an agile DevOps environment

What should you bring along?

• You have several years of experience in operating network components and JUNOS as a Network Operating System
• You have excellent experience with the BGP routing protocol and BGP Flowspec
• You have experience with Linux-based network filtering capabilities such as Netfilter, nftables, eBPF, or XDP
• You are skilled in the operation and development of highly available software artifacts in programming or scripting languages: C, Go, Python, Rust, Bash
• You possess practical knowledge and use of open-source routing services such as Frrouting and GoBGP, and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible and automation are essential parts of your own work practices
• You have strong analytical skills to assess DDoS attacks, implement countermeasures, and continuously enhance our defense platforms. You are, like us, a fan of open source, particularly Linux, and can communicate fluently in English with your international team. German is a plus
