We are seeking to enhance our team at the Clinic for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Hand and Burn Surgery at Helios University Hospital Wuppertal, and invite qualified professionals to apply.

About the Position

The role is full-time or part-time and involves working in a renowned clinic offering comprehensive plastic, aesthetic, and hand surgery services. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing reconstructive microsurgery and other body region reconstructions
• Collaborating within an overregional trauma center and participating in specialized trauma procedures
• Engaging in transgender surgery including penoid reconstruction
• Participating in interdisciplinary tumor boards and breast centers
• Completing specialist training for plastic and aesthetic surgery and hand surgery

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• A specialist qualification in plastic surgery, with or without additional hand surgery certification
• Experience in emergency hand surgery and the ability to operate independently in on-call scenarios
• Strong team collaboration skills and leadership qualities
• A high level of responsibility, engagement, and organizational skills
• Interest in scientific development within the field
• Proof of measles immunization as legally required
