OE and Metrology Analyst

The OE and Metrology Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting electronic system administration of the OE team. Responsibilities include LIMS and Empower administration, instrument life cycle management such as setting up new instruments, performing calibrations and maintenance, lab administration for QC instruments and electronic systems, writing and revising documents for the QC department (SOPs, AMPs, protocols, reports and other technical documents), supporting QC operations (samples, reference standards, regulatory retains, stability samples management, training, document management and procurement, QC budget management and proposal management within Germany), and testing samples (water, bioburden, endotoxins, conductivity, TOC, etc.) with related documentation of tests and results.

As the OE and Metrology Analyst you will join an organization that respects people from all backgrounds and works together focused on changing lives. You will report to the Lead of Metrology.

Job Responsibilities

• Sample management including receiving, inventory storage, distribution and disposition of samples, reference standards, regulatory retains and stability samples.
• Manage QC relevant proposals, providing QC prices and updating QC prices.
• Support QC procurement, including purchase receiving and invoice confirmation.
• Manage inventory of reagents and consumables.
• Track the schedule of metrology activities and ensure calibration and maintenance are carried out on time.
• Serve as lab administrator for E-System such as Empower LIMS and QC instruments.
• Troubleshoot instruments and electronic systems as required.
• Review SOPs, protocols and reports related to Metrology/OE.
• Handle quality events related to OE Metrology and electronic systems such as deviations, OOS, CC.

Qualifications

• Graduation as a technical assistant, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or comparable degree in microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry or another comparable field.

Knowledge / Experience

• Knowledge of GMP requirements of EMA, FDA and other relevant standards such as ICH or WHO.
• Experience with instrument management.
• Experience in microbiology.
• Strong technical knowledge of Metrology and electronic systems.
• Familiarity with sample and reference standard management workflow.
• Good communication skills in English and German (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with training document management and procurement workflow would be beneficial.
