Operational Technology Specialist

We are currently seeking an Operational Technology Specialist (m/f/d) for a leading life sciences company in the Düsseldorf area. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of maintaining systems while ensuring that daily laboratory operations and production processes run efficiently. Tasks:

• Maintain, patch, and update Windows-based systems and applications
• Schedule maintenance and oversee the user account management, data backup, and troubleshooting
• Perform fault analysis and repairs on OT systems and instrumentation to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Schedule and supervise external contractors for maintenance and unplanned repairs
• Implement minor system changes, improvements, and modifications, and assist with larger automation, electrical, and computer system projects

Requirements:

• Completed training in IT, electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT, preferably within a laboratory environment
• Fluent in German and English
