Operations Officer / Student Services

We are looking for one of our clients for an Operations Officer / Student Services.

This is a temporary contract.

Responsibilities

  • Allocation of accommodation (1000+ rooms) according to eligibility criteria. Need to ensure a reliable, auditable and fair process
  • Management of arrivals and departures in university residences, handling high volumes efficiently (hundreds of requests)
  • Following-up cleaning, claims and coordinating maintenance work
  • Monitoring payments and managing reinvoicing with accuracy
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses (availability, occupancy rate, debts) to support decision-making
  • Monitoring, documenting, and communicating key information related to rental contract management
  • Managing complex operations such as resolving complaints and disputes
  • Overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of features in the used software, ensuring regular contact with the service provider
  • Handling general communication tasks, including managing phone calls, emails, website updates, and updating information in software used for accommodation management

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance related field) or equivalent by working experience in coordination and financial management
  • High proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot table, vlookup etc) and in other standard IT tools
  • At least 4 years of proven experience in a similar role such as in accounting or in financial controlling
  • Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required; German is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must-have: rigor, ability to take initiative, and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong ability to adapt to a multicultural and multilingual environment
