Optics system designer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• You (m/f/d) are responsible for developing systems and technical solutions for optical components as part of the design team within the development department
• They support you in development projects, including as sub-project managers, and document and review development progress.
• They develop product specifications and coordinate them with external suppliers.
• They are responsible for planning and building functional models and prototypes.
• You create and coordinate specific requirements and specifications with national and international suppliers in accordance with the applicable standards and requirements
• You create and modify mechanical individual parts, assemblies and systems as required during the development phase and series production and document your development work
• You support production in processing requests for amendments and processing and analyzing quality defects as well as in accompanying tests and inspections

Your profile

• You (m/f/d) have successfully completed your engineering degree in the field of precision engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering and have at least 3 years of professional experience in device and system development
• You have in-depth technical knowledge in the field of optomechanics
• Ideally, you have knowledge of a parametric 3D CAD system, preferably Creo, and experience using ERP systems (SAP)
• You have a high level of technical understanding
• A structured, solution-oriented and customer-oriented way of working and strong teamwork skills and empathy, enthusiasm and joy in working in interdisciplinary teams characterize you
• You have profound written and spoken German and English skills
