Oracle Database Developer

We are hiring a Senior Oracle DBA / Database Engineer to support and evolve enterprise-grade Oracle database platforms.

This role involves database administration, performance tuning, automation, and platform engineering, with a strong focus on Oracle (11g–23ai) and Exadata environments.

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
• Strong expertise in:
• Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, 23ai
• PL/SQL development & performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with:
• Backup & recovery (RMAN, Flashback)
• Migration (Data Pump, Export/Import)
• Strong Shell scripting (Bash / KSH)
• Oracle Databases (Enterprise scale)
• Automation & scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)
• Git / version control
• Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
• Experience with Exadata infrastructure
• Knowledge of Oracle ASM & Data Guard
• Python (2.7 / 3.x), Ansible
• Exposure to Oracle APEX, Java (7/8)
• Understanding of ITIL framework
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and server architectures
• Manage and optimise Oracle database platforms (L3 support)
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling
• Perform performance tuning, backup/recovery, and migrations
• Support Exadata Cloud and Oracle environments
• Analyse incidents and drive root cause resolution
• Collaborate with development teams on performance and design
• Contribute to Agile (Scrum) ceremonies and technical discussions
• Design and support database models and platform improvements
• German is a plus
• Work on enterprise Oracle & Exadata platforms
