WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Legal is the heart: We are working in a highly regulated environment. As the heart pumps the blood to the body, legal is pumping our business to the market. As a team, we work with business, management and all other stakeholders of the company. Our mission is to enable Trade Republic to provide the best service and the best product to our customers in the existing legal framework. Your responsibilities will include:

• Independent assistance on litigation cases, e.g.: file creation and maintenance, deadline management, maintenance and creation of reportings, cost law, correspondence with courts and opponent lawyers, close collaboration with different stakeholders within the organisation in order to gather fact information
• Interface between inhouse legal department and external law firms on all legal matters that arise
• Proactively look out for ways to make processes more effective and efficient and motivation to break new grounds particularly by making use of state of the art tooling including AI and tailor-made in-house solutions.
• Debt collection management
• Provide assistance to the legal team when it comes to preparation of documents, reports, presentations, and all means of communication

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You have successfully completed your training as a German fully qualified Rechtsanwaltsfachangestellte/r (ReFa), ideally followed by further qualification as a Rechtsfachwirt/in (IHK)
• You have at least 4+ years professional experience in an international law firm
• You are communicative, love working as part of a team and are actively anticipating areas where you can assist
• You already have handled file management successfully and fully independently
• Problem-solving and driving change by using innovative solutions is for you a matter of course
• A true star when it comes to independent management of assigned tasks and organisational tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
