We’re hiring on behalf of a client from Brabers, a leading innovator in cloud-based payroll technology. Their solution is a powerful payroll calculation engine that continuously recalculates payroll, instantly reflecting changes to provide real-time results. With SOC1 compliance, a robust dashboard, and built-in anomaly detection, it’s designed to eliminate high-pressure processing, reduce downtime, and improve payroll accuracy.
This forward-thinking platform is already available in several markets and is expanding rapidly worldwide. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Consultant with deep knowledge of UAE payroll to join the team.
Role Overview
As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you will lead the functional implementation of our client’s payroll solution in the UAE market. You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle—from initial client discussions through configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. You will act as the functional bridge between the client and internal teams to ensure a smooth, accurate implementation process aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the client-facing functional lead, supporting project kick-offs and facilitating requirements-gathering sessions.
- Collaborate with clients to capture all relevant payroll configuration data needed to complete implementation workbooks.
- Identify deviations from standard processes and product features.
- Work closely with the product team to configure and customize the payroll solution.
- Validate payroll configurations and integrations during testing phases.
- Perform data validations in the payroll system.
- Coordinate issue resolution with relevant technical and product teams.
- Provide knowledge transfer to ongoing support and operations teams.
- Contribute to and update the project plan regularly.
- Support data mapping and validation across integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Assist with UAT, parallel testing, and go-live preparation.
- Define and manage workarounds when necessary.
- Oversee smooth handover to delivery and operational payroll teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within a payroll software or payroll outsourcing environment.
- In-depth understanding of UAE payroll and compliance, including tax and local legislation.
- Hands-on experience with the full payroll implementation lifecycle (specific to UAE).
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to capture, document, and articulate client requirements effectively.
- Creative and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on simplicity and efficiency.
- Skilled in working with all levels of business, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
