Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Integration Design

Architect end-to-end integrations between Pega CDH and enterprise systems using REST/JSON, SOAP, Kafka, MQ, SFTP, and ETL pipelines.

Create architecture blueprints, including high-level/detailed designs, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, integration specs, and deployment architectures.

Ensure integrations support real-time decisioning, high throughput, low latency, and high availability across all customer channels.

Define and enforce standards for authentication, authorization, encryption, error handling, retries, logging, and API versioning.

Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight

Act as the technical lead for CDH integration workstreams across all environments (Dev → Prod).

Review and approve integration designs, mappings, and interface specifications.

Guide developers and architects in building scalable, reusable, and compliant components.

Ensure integration solutions follow enterprise security, compliance, and architecture governance frameworks.

CDH Enablement & Ecosystem Orchestration

Design data sourcing strategies for interaction history, customer profiles, decisioning data, and AI model inputs.

Collaborate with Decisioning and Data Architects to enable real-time eligibility, suitability, arbitration, and propensity scoring.

Optimize container configurations for inbound channels: web, mobile, contact center, ATM/kiosk, IVR, etc.

Client Engagement & Advisory

Lead workshops with IT teams, enterprise architects, and application owners to define integration requirements.

Present architectural recommendations, patterns, and trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders.

Troubleshoot complex integration issues, identify root causes, and drive permanent solutions.

Quality, Performance & Governance

Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) including throughput, performance benchmarks, resiliency, and SLAs.

Oversee performance testing, failover validation, environment readiness, and capacity planning.

Ensure solutions align with SDLC best practices and are built for maintainability, reliability, and scale.

Required Experience & Skills

8+ years in enterprise architecture, integration engineering, or customer platform architecture.

5+ years delivering Pega Platform or Pega CDH solutions, preferably in a Lead System Architect (LSA) or senior integration role.

Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, and middleware.

Solid understanding of relational & NoSQL databases, real-time streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), and integration patterns.

Proficiency with security standards, high-availability architectures, and cloud-native design.

Ability to translate business needs into robust, scalable, and future-proof integration solutions.

Excellent communication skills across both executive and technical audiences.

Preferred / Certifications

Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) — mandatory.

Experience with enterprise marketing tech, CDPs, CRMs, or data hub architectures.

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are an advantage.
