As a People Partner atFlatpay, you will be a key pillar in supporting our employees and leadership to build a thriving work environment.You’llact as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on employee relations, German labor law, and organizational development.

What you'll do

Serve as a trusted partner to leaders, providing coaching and support on a wide range of people-related matters.

Develop and deliver pragmatic workshops, training sessions, and initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership capabilities and communication.

Provide expert knowledge on German labor law and ensure compliance across the organization without losing sight of business goals.

Act as a liaison to address concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and career development conversations.

Analyze People data and feedback to recommend and implement continuous improvements in policies, processes, and culture.

Promote Flatpay’s values and mission through proactive communication and employee support.

Who you are

Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust at all levels of the organization.

Deep knowledge of German labor law and practical experience applying it in startups.

Experienced in designing and facilitating workshops for leadership and teams.

Problem-solver who is proactive, empathetic, and confident working independently.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and managing multiple priorities finding a good balance between quality and speed.
