The Department of Genome Editing at the Institute of Biomedical Genetics (IBMG), University of Stuttgart, invites applications for a PhD position. We study how cell death and inflammatory signalling intersect to drive human disease. The PhD candidate will explore the molecular basis of metabolic diseases, dissecting how defects in cellular clearance and stress responses contribute to cardiac, muscular, and neurodegenerative pathologies.
