Your tasks

• Investigate lipid metabolism in kidnex physiology and pathophysiology
• Focus on mechanisms such as lipotoxicity, lipid droplet formation, and membrane contact sites between the endoplasmic reticulum, lipid droplets and mitochondria under conditions of excel fatty acid uptake
• Use of cell culture and, potentially, mouse models to study cell biology of lipid metabolism, particularly in the kidney
• Participation and presentation in regular meetings
• Contribute to publications ad grant proposals

Your profile

• Solid ecpertise in molecular cell biology
• Prior experience in lipid biology (advantageous but not required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High motivation and ability to work independently with a strong work ethic
• Proficiency in English (international lab environment)
