About the Role

Position: Physics Specialist Remote Position (Contractor)

Location: Remote

Commitment: 30 hours per week

Pay: $50–$60 per hour

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate scientific correctness, conceptual rigor, and depth of LLM‑generated responses across physics and engineering topics.
• Review outputs involving mathematical modeling, experimental methods, and theoretical frameworks in physics.
• Identify factual errors, reasoning flaws, and conceptual misunderstandings in model outputs.
• Benchmark model performance on advanced physics and applied engineering problems.
• Work independently and asynchronously using proprietary evaluation tools.

Qualifications

• PhD (or PhD candidate) in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of graduate‑level physics and mathematical reasoning.
• Excellent written communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous setting.
