PIM & Data Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven PIM & Data Operations Manager (m/f/d) who will take ownership of our Product Information Management system and ensure high-quality and complete product data across all channels. In this role, you will act as the central point of contact for product data, working closely with internal stakeholders (data contributors and data consumers), while coordinating with vendors and technical teams. You will drive efficient data processes and continuously improve our PIM system.

• Own and continuously develop our PIM system (Akeneo), including workflows, data model, export and import profiles, automation, and AI‑based functions
• Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and vendors regarding product data
• Conduct user trainings and support internal teams in working efficiently with the system
• Monitor workflows and proactively drive resolution of delays or bottlenecks
• Manage and execute the onboarding of product data from vendors
• Design and maintain tools and templates to streamline data collection (e.g., standardized templates, asset exchange solutions)
• Coordinate and execute data uploads into the PIM system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Define and manage automated data transformation and validation processes
• Ensure high data quality standards and continuously optimize data processes for scalability and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Product Owner on system improvements and backlog prioritization

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with a PIM system (preferably Akeneo)
• Experience in product data management, onboarding, and data quality assurance
• Proven track record in managing data‑heavy operational processes reliably and efficiently
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and acting as a central interface between teams
• Experience in designing, structuring, and optimizing processes and workflows
• Solid understanding of data transformation, mapping, and validation logic
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to bring structure and standardization into complex environments
• Fluent in English (required); German is a plus
• Experience with data processing automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate) is a plus
