Position: PLC & Electrical Design Engineer

The role is based in Overath, Germany, with a hybrid working model requiring regular on‑site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of control software for industrial heat pumps using Siemens TIA Portal (S7‑1500)
• Planning and design of control cabinets in Eplan P8
• Testing systems on the company’s own heat pump test bench
• Implementation of customer‑specific software adaptations
• Development and implementation of visualization solutions in WinCC
• Technical support during commissioning at customer sites

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Technical training or a university degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens S7, and WinCC
• Experience with Eplan P8
• Willingness to travel (more than 25%)
• Proficiency in English
• Strong motivation to learn and develop deep technical expertise
• Desire to make a real impact through your work

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Basic knowledge of thermodynamics
• Proficiency in German
• Experience working in a multinational environment
