Policy Research Analyst | Remote $60/hr

Position: Public Policy and Language Specialist (Contract, Remote, 2 months, 20+ hrs/week)

Base pay range: $40–$60/hr.

Role Responsibilities

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex policy frameworks into clear, structured rubrics for AI training.
• Write fluently in both German and English, ensuring accurate terminology and nuanced expression across languages.
• Provide cultural and policy insights unique to the public in Germany.
• Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• Contribute to AI model training, evaluation, and improvement.

Qualifications

Must‑Have

• Native‑level fluency in German with strong written and spoken English.
• Degree in policy, political science, sociology, or a similar field.
• 2–6+ years of experience in politics, public policy, think tanks, etc.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in policy writing, instructional design, or academic publishing.

Preferred

• Experience with grading, instructional design, or rubric development.
• Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
