Post-doctoral scientist (m/w/d)

The Pediatric Leukemia group embedded into the Department of Pediatric Oncology, Haematology and Immunology of the University of Heidelberg, the Medical Faculty/EMBL Molecular Medicine Partnership Unit (MMPU), the DKFZ Clinical Cooperation Unit Pediatric Leukemia and the Hopp-Children’s Cancer Research Center Heidelberg offers a positions for a Post-doctoral scientist.

The position is available in the inspiring Heidelberg environment joining the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University, EMBL and the DKFZ.

The projects focus on the genetic and epigenetic molecular pathogenesis of pediatric T-cell leukemia (T-ALL). One particular emphasis will be on the multiomic wet- and dry-lab analysis of clonal and subclonal genomic variation in this type of leukemia.

Your tasks

• Molecular and cell biology techniques
• Wet lab techniques of geneomic and transciptomic analyses
• Dry lab bioinformatic analyses of genomic and transcriptomic data sets
