Beschreibung

The institute offers a new position for research on the deposition and utilisation of perovskite thin films for optoelectronic devices. Potential candidates should hold a PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.

Your task

You will fabricate and study metal halide perovskite thin films for use in optoelectronic devices.

  • Deposition, characterisation and utilisation of thin films of perovskites, contact materials, and passivation materials.
  • Research focus varies with the successful candidate’s profile.
  • Vacuum deposition of perovskite absorbers, characterisation of thin films and devices, and development of new characterisation methods.
  • Understanding processes during film deposition and their impact on device performance and stability.
  • Supervision of PhD and Master students in their daily work.

Your profile

  • Completed or nearly completed PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in perovskite semiconductor research.
  • Excellent experimental skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in diverse teams.
  • Proven track record of scientific publication and conference presentations.
  • Experience with the study and optimisation of optoelectronic devices is desired.
  • Good English skills are required.
