Full A to Z life cycle (ideally we seek someone who has worked for a small / medium firm and someone who has deep hands on Power BI DEV full life cycle.
Ideally this person is already in Germany/Berlin but we will consider people who need to relocate and who desire to relocate to Berlin.
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong hands-on experience in Power BI development and MS Fabric . The ideal candidate will be both technically skilled and business-oriented, capable of building powerful data solutions and engaging directly with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Power BI Development (60%)
- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Implement and maintain automation across the Power BI reporting landscape.
- Develop dynamic and static reporting solutions, including automated trigger thresholds.
- Build and integrate an AI Co-Pilot within the BI reporting environment to support company-wide data initiatives.
- Business & Data Engagement (40%)
- Gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, datasets, and data models.
- Provide best-practice advice on system landscape and data visualization strategies.
- Monitor and maintain the Power BI environment, ensuring system performance and reliability.
Technical Environment
- Core Stack: Power BI, MS Fabric (must have), SAP BW (advantage for data extraction).
- Focus Areas:
- Data modelling and dataset creation.
- Reporting and visualization.
- Data virtualization and integration across the MS Fabric ecosystem.
Candidate Profile
- Proven hands-on experience in Power BI report development and automation .
- Deep understanding of MS Fabric and its application within enterprise BI.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in agile, fast-paced environments — preferably from smaller or mid-sized firms , not large consultancies (IBM, TCS, etc.).
- Must hold a valid EU work permit or passport.
- Must be able to work onsite in Berlin at least 3 days per week .
