Power Electronics Engineer - AI Driven Design

We are currently partnered with a world-leading research center in Germany working at the intersection of AI and Power Electronics. The team are looking to hire a Power Electronics Engineer to investigate advanced converter technologies to develop innovative design methodologies for AI data centers.

This is a permanent opportunity based onsite in Nuremberg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities for this Power Electronics Engineer position:

• Research AI-driven design methodologies for magnetic components, control strategies, and circuit topologies.
• Formulate AI-powered technology roadmaps for next-generation power supply applications.
• Lead technical partnerships with leading European research institutions and universities.
• Deliver routine insights on industry trends regarding AI applications in Power Electronics.

Key Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s in Power Electronics or AI Applications.
• Hands-on experience designing and training AI models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with CNNs and Transformers applied to physical system challenges.
• Prior experience in high-current power supply systems for Data Centers is a strong plus.
