Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field.
• Proficiency in both English and German.
• At least 8 years’ experience in the consumer electronics industry, which includes but not limited to tech related business in PR firms, tech journalism, product PR.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with relevant experience dealing with media.
• Experience in creating excellent communication materials.
• Self-motivated, strong communication capabilities with the ability to express complex ideas clearly, and able to learn and adapt quickly.
• Strong negotiation skills, able to tackle challenging situations.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

To create a client's annual and half-yearly global media communication strategy which can support the development of the client's tech brand image.

To create a client's global product launch communication plan and deliver PR materials, that create coverage through media with global influence and local market media.

Provide guidance and support to local markets for media-related matters such as, but not limited to media briefings, executive interviews, media attendance, promotion of events through media outlets.

Be a key member of event project teams handling top industry events such as, but not limited to, CES/MWC/IFA.

Develop expert-level understanding of products from Clients through close interaction with internal product-focused teams (product marketing, R&D, etc.)

Stay actively up to date on what’s happening in the consumer technology space, and familiar with how global media operate, with a special focus on tech media.
