We seek a full-time employee candidate to join our client, a global provider of a “State of the Art” Energy Trading Risk Management, Automated Workflow Platform (CTRM - ETRM). Key Tech Stack; ETRM or CTRM; Python and SQL; Their enterprise SaaS product is a market leader in technology, usability, and enterprise integration. We are looking to help add a European Sales Engineer to their International Sales team. You will own 100% of the technical side of new deals. This a full time, remote employee role with a high travel contingent. The role will be superbly remunerated with a highly competitive package. For the ideal candidate this is a great opportunity to shape how you and the Organisation behind you responds to technical challenges from the sales perspective. The ideal candidate is one that has technical experience in the commodity trading space, has participated in customer facing demonstrations of Enterprise Software Solutions, and can identify and offer superior automated solutions to potential customers challenged by the limitation of current systems. Responsibilities; Deeply understand the software, its capabilities, and how to effectively set it up for various business and commodity typesPrepare and present custom demonstrations.Provide support including technical sales calls, training, presentations, proof-of-concepts, capacity planning and technical ROI models.Represent Client at trade shows and other speaking engagements as needed.Maintain Client demonstration environment for demonstrations on sales calls and tradeshow events.Build scripts and reports in Python and SQL to handle custom scenarios and outputs.Capture and prioritize issues and feature requests to enter our Engineering pipeline.Identify internal processes that need improvement and participate in upgrading them.Participate in discovery calls.Respond to RFPs.Ability to perform in from of an audience Requirements; Must Have: Experience using Python and SQL to build scripts and reports to handle custom scenarios and outputsA strong passion for disruptive technologyFamiliarity with Finance concepts and calculations, as they relate to commodity tradingAbility to prioritize and triage, given many urgent and important tasksProactive, get things done approach and ability to solve issues and move things forwardStrong written and verbal communication skills, and customer orientationSchedule flexibility – time zones alignment. Nice to Have: Financial BackgroundA bachelor’s degree or betterCTRM/ETRM experience
