The team is highly international, with colleagues based in London, Munich, Singapore, Chicago, and New York, working closely with underwriting, actuarial and product stakeholders worldwide.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Head of Pricing MidCorp LongTail Lines, you will support the Global Pricing MidCorp team in the development and application of pricing capabilities for MidCorporate Liability and Financial Lines. You will contribute analytical input to pricing initiatives, support pricing tools and governance activities, and build a strong technical foundation in insurance pricing through hands‑on involvement in global projects.

Some of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include

  • Supporting the Global Financial Lines Pricing Centre of Competence through analytical contributions and documentation.
  • Assisting with the rollout and enhancement of the Allianz Technical Price system across operating entities.
  • Preparing and validating data sets to support pricing analyses and tool development.
  • Performing pricing analyses, scenario testing and impact assessments under guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Contributing to the development, testing and refinement of MidCorporate pricing and costing tools.
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of pricing tools, including parameter updates and documentation.
  • Assisting with pricing governance activities such as Functional Pricing Reviews, Deep Dives and Technical Price Certification.
  • Producing reports, presentations and analytical outputs for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with underwriting, pricing and data teams across regions on day‑to‑day pricing activities.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a comparable discipline.
  • Actuarial qualification in progress or strong motivation to pursue actuarial certification.
  • Early professional experience or strong academic exposure to data analysis, statistical modelling or insurance pricing.
  • Interest in technical pricing within P&C insurance, with exposure to Liability or Financial Lines considered an advantage.
  • Practical experience using analytical tools such as Python, R or SAS, along with strong Microsoft Office and VBA skills.
  • A willingness to learn pricing methodologies, tools and governance frameworks used in a global organisation.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical outputs clearly to non‑technical stakeholders with support.
  • The ability to utilize AI tools to support day‑to‑day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data‑driven decision‑making is valuable.
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative working style suited to a fast‑paced, international environment.
  • An awareness of ethical AI practices and an interest in emerging AI technologies, with the ability to apply them responsibly in analytical and pricing contexts.
