.## Principal Solution System Manager (m/f/d)Herzogenrath,North Rhine Westphalia,Germany**About this opportunity:**Ericsson’s Cloud, Common and Solutions System & Technology organization provides architecture, systemization, and technology leadership across Core Network Solutions. We are looking for a Solution System Manager to lead and evolve Cloud Lifecycle Management (LCM) solutions for 5G Core and future network technologies.In this role you will be a senior technical and architectural leader, responsible for the full solution lifecycle, shaping Cloud LCM evolution from early studies and architecture definition through industrialization and customer deployment. Working across Product Development Units (PDUs,) system areas, product management, and customer facing organizations, you will align strategy, architecture, and execution in complex, multi product environments, leading primarily through technical influence. You will ensure solutions are robust, scalable, secure, highly automated, and serviceable at scale, supporting Ericsson’s evolution toward new technology and better serviceability.**What you will do:**• Drive system studies, architecture evolution, solution roadmaps in Cloud LCM area. • Drive system requirements, architecture documentation, and solution descriptions. • Define and evolve cloud native LCM architectures based on microservices, Kubernetes, GitOps, and automation first principles. • Drive solutions with high automation, low total cost of ownership (TCO), and operational simplicity. • Ensure alignment with technical governance, architectural guidelines, and standardization direction. • Contribute to closed loop automation and autonomous operations strategies. • Work closely with Product Management, System Areas, PDUs, Program Management, and Cloud Infrastructure teams. • Contribute to technology leadership initiatives, proofs of concept, and innovation activities. • Track and influence developments in cloud platforms, automation, AI, and future network architectures. • Support long term readiness for 5G Advanced and 6G.**The skills you bring:**Experience • Extensive experience in system architecture, solution architecture, or solution/system management roles. • Strong telecom background, 5G Core, Cloud Core, or Network Management is required • Demonstrated experience designing automation centric and serviceable systems in production environments. • Experience with network automation, closed loop assurance, or AI assisted operations. • Experience contributing to or influencing standardization activities (e.g., 3GPP). Technical Competence • Deep understanding of cloud native architectures, including Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, and GitOps. • Solid knowledge of Lifecycle Management (LCM) and automation frameworks supporting deployment, upgrade, rollback, healing, and scaling. • Experience with policy based and closed loop automation concepts. • Strong understanding of observability, fault management, recovery strategies, operational KPIs, SLAs, and service continuity. • Ability to translate operational and service requirements into system level architectural decisions.
