In this role, you will partner with senior Microsoft teams globally to provide thematic engineering engagement with policymakers and supervisors across FSI and the public sector. Your goal is to educate, influence, and understand future directions, navigating the intersection of regulation, legal, process, and technology to identify impact and resolution pathways.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Microsoft senior teams (PRA, CELA, Industry) to educate and influence future policy directions.
Translate regulatory assurance and governance complexities into clear, actionable insights using your knowledge of Microsoft Cloud offerings.
Balance regulatory, customer, and Microsoft requirements effectively, leveraging your expertise in contracts and regulations.
Adapt to changing roles while providing consistent insights from within the cloud to internal teams and customers.
Use judgment to determine when conventions should be followed or challenged.
Work closely with sales, legal, privacy, engineering, customers, and executives, handling diverse situations.
Drive program management initiatives to improve Microsoft’s cloud services.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.

Preferred

Experience working with Public Sector or Financial services regulators.
Support or consulting experience in IT, especially in regulated industries like banking, insurance, or healthcare.
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud governance features and regulatory documentation.
Experience in providing technical consulting or advisory services.
Strong influencing skills across disciplines such as IT, Engineering, Risk, and Legal.
Excellent communication skills.
