About the Role

At Itercon, we are looking for an experienced PRL Manager / Health & Safety Manager to lead our Occupational Health & Safety strategy across construction projects in Hanau, Germany.

This role is key to ensuring full compliance with safety standards, fostering a strong safety culture, and managing preventive measures across all worksites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the Health & Safety Plan for construction projects.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and internal safety audits.
• Coordinate preventive actions with contractors, subcontractors, and external HSE services.
• Promote training, awareness, and safety culture across all teams.
• Ensure compliance with local and EU health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with quality and operations teams to align safety and production goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE / Health & Safety within construction or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Proven leadership and contractor management skills.
• Fluent in English (B2–C1); German is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Master in PRL are an advantage.
