We are currently looking for a Problem Manager (m/f/d) for our client.

• Weekly working hours: 37 hours (5-day week)
• Location: Full-time on site in Cologne
• Type of contract: Temporary employment (ANÜ)
• Willingness to undergo a security check (incl. fulfillment of the criteria) is a prerequisite

Your tasks

b) Tasks:

• The focus of the activity is on ITIL-based problem and incident management as well as process control.
• Process management & control: Control and further development of ITIL-compliant problem and incident processes. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with these processes by those involved. Collaboration in the "ITIL Processes" team with specialization in problem/incident management.
• Operational problem management: Tool-supported processing of problem and incident tickets. Investigation of incidents together with system and application managers with regard to cause and impact on business processes. Preparation and moderation of reviews, problem advisory boards and task forces with internal specialist teams.
• Projects & documentation: Updating existing operational documentation. Participation in projects for public clients (federal or state). Collaboration in acquisitions (recognition of sales opportunities) and migration projects.

Your profile

• Education & experience: Master's or diploma degree (or comparable knowledge) | At least 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in an IT operations environment | Extensive experience in migration projects
• Professional competencies (hard skills): Very good and broad knowledge of ITIL problem management | Certification: ITIL Expert (or comparable) | Good business knowledge (business cases, calculations) | Confident use of MS Office
• Personal skills (soft skills): High analytical, systematic and conceptual thinking skills | Strong leadership skills (management personality) and ability to work in a team | Very good communication, presentation and moderation skills at all management levels | Experience in coaching and knowledge transfer | Customer-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking
• Language skills: Business fluent in written and spoken German | Very good command of English.
