Process Control Specialist (m/w/d) – Action
Join us as a Process Control Specialist to monitor and improve the logistical processes in outsourced Distribution Centers (DCs). The role reports directly to the Logistics Service Manager and focuses on managing and enhancing logistics processes and systems.
Purpose of the job
Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring logistics processes and systems within the Distribution Center, ensuring high efficiency and quality service. Acts as the central point of contact for SAP (E)WM users within the DC.
Areas of responsibility
Operational Management
- Manages processes and systems.
- Ensures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed, maintained, and adjusted as needed.
- Tracks key performance indicators.
- Provides input to the Logistics Service Manager for translating Action’s policies and procedures to LSP operations.
- Prepares business cases for potential process improvements with HQ process management.
- Supports compliance with labor/environment/safety legislation.
- Replaces the Logistics Service Manager during absences.
SAP (E)WM Support
- Points of contact on-site for SAP inquiries.
- Ensures processes align with SAP system requirements.
Project Management
- Defines planning and priorities.
- Monitors and drives continuous improvement of local processes.
- Delivers business process improvements in line with Action’s distribution center strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in retail/logistics.
- Excellent German and business-level English.
- Experience in process management and improvement methodology.
- Strong analytical skills.
Experience with SAP (PRD and EWM). Proposes efficient working methods and implements them. High pragmatism. Highly organized, meets deadlines, adheres to guidelines. Works efficiently under time pressure. Collaborates effectively with others to achieve common targets. What we offer you
