Procurement Lead (m/f/d)

About the role

As Procurement Manager , you take full responsibility for our procurement strategy and ensure that LANCH gets the best suppliers, terms, and quality for all our brands. You report directly to our Operations Lead and are the Key Account Manager for our most important supplier relationships.

What you will do:

• You identify and evaluate potential new suppliers for new SKUs across all LANCH brands (Happy Slice, Loco Chicken, Koco Chicken, and future brands).
• You negotiate contracts and terms for new SKUs and secure optimal prices, quality, and delivery conditions.
• You conduct re-negotiations on existing SKUs to continuously achieve better terms and savings.
• You act as Key Account Manager for our strategically most important suppliers and build long‑term, strong partnerships.
• You develop and implement a strategic procurement strategy for food and packaging.
• You monitor market trends, price changes, and new innovations in the food sector.
• You ensure compliance with quality and food standards for all products.
• You work closely with Culinary and Product Development to source new ingredients and products.
• You manage the procurement budget, optimize inventory levels, and continuously identify savings opportunities.

About you

• You have at least 3-5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, ideally in the food industry, FMCG, or gastronomy.
• You have demonstrable success in negotiating supplier contracts and cost optimization.
• You have a deep understanding of supply chains and logistics processes in the food sector.
• You are familiar with quality standards and food safety regulations.
• You have excellent analytical skills and negotiation abilities – you get the best for LANCH.
• You have strong communication skills, are relationship-oriented, and know how to build long‑term partnerships.
• You speak fluent German and English.
• You are data‑savvy and ideally have experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
• You have a passion for food and innovations in the food sector – you are passionate about sourcing the best products.
